According to Mr Donald Trump, an extreme toupe who is running for President in the USA, police in London are terrified for their lives right now due to the terror threat.
By his logic I’d hate to think how Americans feel about their dogs right now.

I think we in the US have the monopoly on pants-wetters. Particularly on pants-wetting police who shoot to kill “because they fear for their lives.” I have no evidence which would lead me to distrust UK (or Oz) police.

Thanks for this Yolly – something to lighten the mood a little – it was a shock when I saw a policeman in my village wearing one of those protective things – are they called ‘stab vests’ – some fifteen or so years ago – I was horrified that they’d feel the need round here.
Bless you underwriter 505 – I hope you never have any reason to fear UK or Oz police (or USA police either!) – but in the UK they have been arming the police stealthily for several years – even in the North of Scotland, which is hardly the crime capital of the UK! Most of the police don’t want to be armed, they feel (quite rightly in my view) that they would lose the trust of the public.
Scary about those dogs though isn’t it… !
