MPs ‘Likely’ To Recall Murdoch Over Hacking – Yahoo!.

Major breaking news story (about thirty minutes old as I type) in the UK over the hacking scandal, found here on Yahoo, and reproduced, one presumes, from Sky News in London, who I believe broke the story.

Personally, I think this one will run and run. And I don’t think it will stop at News Corp, or in the UK. What do you think?

The entire story is hugely interesting. It shows how the Establishment have been in each other’s pockets for decades and when the Press & Police rounded on the Politicians during the expenses scandal they merely set themselves up to be trampled as the Pollys ran for the moral highground in the wake of the hacking revelations. Again, illustrative of how our entire system is rotten. And that includes the bloody bankers. So there.

In the meantime, the harpy Mensche will use it as a platform to establish herself, Watson will puff with importance and if it goes on long enough, the Committee Chair (whose name escapes me) may actually work out what the heck is going on. Everybody will get rich except the people paying for the hearings. I bloody hate Westminster.

How I bet that Vince Cable must wish he was on this Committee right now, though. :-))

Bloggers in the UK now refer to ‘the circular firing squad’ as the media, police and politicians line up to condemn each other. I don’t know who first coined this phrase but it is an excellent summary of what is going on.

    Expect many bullets.
